Pismo Home Remodel

This residential addition and remodel in Pismo Beach transformed the front of an existing home while adding approximately 200 square feet of new interior living space. The addition provides a new family room while improving the overall architectural character of the residence, demonstrating how a relatively modest expansion can have a significant impact on both the functionality and appearance of a home.

The new construction was carefully integrated with the existing residence through coordinated stucco finishes, clay tile roof forms, arched windows and openings, articulated columns, and decorative trim. Varied rooflines and projecting architectural elements add depth to the facade, while the redesigned entry creates a stronger sense of arrival and a more cohesive architectural identity between the original home and the addition.

Low courtyard walls, columns, walkways, and new landscaping further redefine the relationship between the residence and its front yard, providing greater privacy while creating a welcoming transition from the street to the entry. Mature palms and drought-conscious landscaping complement the architecture and reinforce the property’s relaxed coastal character. The completed remodel successfully combines expanded living space, architectural enhancement, and landscape improvements to create a more unified and inviting Pismo Beach residence.
