Master Bedroom Bath Remodel

This comprehensive primary suite renovation transformed the existing bedroom, dressing area, bathroom, and exterior deck into a more spacious and thoughtfully organized private retreat. The original deck was incorporated into the interior to expand the primary bedroom, while the existing closet areas were reconfigured into separate “his” and “hers” closets. These changes allowed the former dressing and vanity area to become part of a substantially enlarged and redesigned primary bathroom.

The new bathroom is centered around a Kohler Jacuzzi tub set on a raised porcelain tile platform and framed by tapered Ionic limestone columns. A vaulted ceiling and arched soffit enhance the volume and architectural character of the space, while a custom vanity incorporates dual Kohler lavatories, extensive cabinetry, integrated storage, a built-in hamper, beveled mirrors, and a recessed medicine cabinet. Carefully integrated ledges and soffits provide additional visual interest and opportunities for display.

An oversized tile and stone shower completes the spa-inspired environment with a seven-head system that includes an overhead rain shower, adjustable body jets, handheld shower, and separate stationary shower head. Recessed controls and a soap and shampoo niche maintain clean sightlines, while a lowered soffit helps retain warmth and creates a more intimate sense of enclosure. Together, the expanded bedroom, individualized closets, custom cabinetry, architectural stonework, and luxurious bathing features create a highly personalized primary suite that balances everyday functionality with craftsmanship and refined architectural detail.
